In short: your medications, schedule and history stay on your phone. OkiDose has no account, no ads and no analytics. The internet is used only if you turn on the optional Family alert, and for purchases through Google Play.
This data is stored only in the app's private storage on your device. We cannot see it.
We do not collect personal data. OkiDose contains no advertising SDK and no analytics. We do not sell or share data.
okidose://take. Touching it marks the doses due now. No data is written to the sticker except this link.If you turn it on and invite someone, then only when a dose is missed after all repeat reminders, the app sends to Google Firebase: an anonymous account ID, the time of the dose, the name you entered and — unless you chose to hide it — the medication name. Firebase delivers it to the phones you invited, and the event is deleted right after delivery. Taken doses, your schedule and your history are never sent.
You can remove a person, turn the feature off, or delete everything stored in the cloud with Settings → Data and privacy → Delete my cloud data.
Google Firebase is operated by Google LLC: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
OkiDose Premium is a yearly plan (subscription or one-time payment for a year) handled by Google Play. We do not receive your payment details. The app only checks with Google Play whether Premium was purchased on your Google account.
OkiDose does not request location, contacts, microphone or camera permission (scanning uses the system camera app).
OkiDose is not directed at children under 13 and is intended for adults managing their own or a family member's medications.
Uninstalling the app deletes all data on the phone. Deleting a medication deletes its photo. Cloud data from Family alert can be deleted in Settings → Data and privacy → Delete my cloud data, or by e-mail to shevch@gmail.com.
OkiDose is a reminder tool. It does not give medical advice, check drug interactions or replace your doctor or pharmacist. Always follow the instructions of your healthcare provider and the medication label.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at the same address with a new effective date.
